The T2 glue gun repair system provides permanent repair for surface damage on conveyor belts. Heat and stir the adhesive mixture in the glue gun, and then extrude it from the front for repair. This type of repair is fast and simple, especially suitable for emergency repairs.

Preparation before repair:

1. Tool preparation: polishing machine, tungsten steel polishing disc, glue injection gun, flat blade, crayon, ruler, brush;

2. Surface preparation for repair: Use a pen to mark the starting position of the repair and the preparation for cutting and partial width. The starting position of the repair should be 10 centimeters in front of the scratch, and the width should be 15mm wider than the scratch width on each side at an angle of 45 degrees. Then, use a low-speed polishing machine to polish and cut diagonally with a flat edged knife. Cut as deep as the crack is.

B treatment of the surface to be repaired:

Use a tungsten steel polishing disc to polish the surface to be repaired, then clean it with a brush. If there is dust, it must be cleaned,

C Brushing adhesive:

1. Preparation of adhesive strips: First, pull out the adhesive strips of T2 composite adhesive A and B, and glue them together by hand.

2. The ratio of adhesive A and B is 1:1, and stir evenly with force. The mixed adhesive can only be stored for 2 hours. The first time it must be completely dry, and the second time it can be filled with adhesive if it is slightly sticky. (Note: Glue as much as needed)

3. Apply the prepared adhesive.

D glue gun repair:

Preparation of glue gun: Insert the glue gun into the power supply, push out the clean glue section that was originally filled after use, and discard it. It can be used in 5-10 minutes. The filling should be 1mm higher than the original belt surface. At the same time, press both sides of the repair tape with a compaction roller to ensure that there are no gaps left during the repair.

E repair completed:

1. The repaired surface can be flattened with a rubber knife if it is too high, and then brushed with A and B adhesives once.

2. After completing the above repair steps, the conveyor belt can be immediately put into use.

Attention: After completing the above repairs, be sure to use cleaning glue to remove the remaining T2 composite adhesive strip from the glue gun. Otherwise, the rubber strip will undergo vulcanization inside the glue gun, causing blockage and rendering it unusable.
