So many companies also sell ordinary rubber plates under the banner of containing CN semi vulcanized layer. How to correctly distinguish wear-resistant rubber plates with or without semi vulcanized layer?
Firstly, a preliminary judgment can be made based on the appearance of the product.
The bonding surface and surface color of ordinary wear-resistant rubber sheets are consistent, while the bonding surface and surface color of rubber sheets with semi vulcanized layers are different.
The bonding surface of ordinary wear-resistant rubber sheets generally only has one layer, while the bonding surface of rubber sheets with semi vulcanized layers has an additional layer of two layers.
Then, one can make a deeper judgment from the specific operation of the glue board.
Firstly, it is necessary to check whether the bonding surface of the adhesive board needs to be polished. The roughness of the polishing surface of ordinary adhesive boards is not enough, and it needs to be polished before bonding. Otherwise, it will affect the bonding effect, resulting in poor sealing effect of the drum and shortened service life of the drum. The adhesive surface of the rubber plate with a CN semi vulcanized layer does not need to be polished, and can be directly bonded after applying glue.
Secondly, during the bonding process of the adhesive board without a semi vulcanized layer, it is necessary to apply two coats of glue, because the bonding between it and the drum relies on glue for physical bonding, which can easily cause cracking during later use and affect its service life.
A rubber plate with a CN semi vulcanized layer only needs to be brushed with glue once. Due to the characteristics of the semi vulcanized layer, the adhesion between it and the glue not only undergoes physical properties but also chemical reactions, causing the rubber plate and glue to undergo a bonding reaction and melt each other, thereby ensuring the super strong adhesion between the rubber plate, glue, and the surface of the drum.
